Chaplain David Nobles

Chaplain David Nobles has committed his life to serving his God and his community. He grew up in a small town in North Carolina where he began working for emergency services. He was quick to realize that helping people was going to be his life long passion. As a result, he joined the army, leaving his small town for Fort Hood, Texas. Here, he truly learned of his love for God and the vision He had for his life. Being in combat situations and being witnesses for fellow soldiers in their worst times began a new chapter in his life.

In 2011, he welcomed the birth of his daughter. With this in mind, he left the Army and joined the Destiny World Outreach Center in Killeen, Texas. Of course, he became a leader both in the church and the community; from serving as a group leader for the singles group and independent life group, to being a member of the usher team and security team. Meanwhile, Chaplain Nobles joined a local volunteer fire department and was quickly asked to be the chaplain. His calling that he had felt for years that God has placed in his heart was now a reality.

As can be seen, Chaplain Nobles is the perfect choice for the couple who wants to strengthen their marriage through God. He believes, first and foremost, that God should be put first in every aspect of marriage; from dating, to the engagement, through vows, and throughout marriage. And in fact, he puts these values into his own engagement with his fiance, Diane.

“If you keep your faith, God will always be there to uplift you, give you hope, and to light a path in the darkest of times. Also, a little pointer from my own experience. Always kiss your wife, or your husband, goodnight. Never go to bed mad at each other, and always say a prayer! It’s the little things that add up to be the biggest in a relationship.” – Chaplain Nobles.
