Mark started in the emergency response field in 2001 in various roles including Firefighter, Paramedic, Special Rescue Teams, Instructor, K9 officer, and State Medical Task Force Leader. With the inherited passion of providing help when our neighbors need it the most, Mark is now excited to be a small part of your biggest day!
Mark has an ever-evolving look. From the bare-faced crew cut, to the flowing bearded man-bob, and recently the buzzcut, Mark enjoys entertaining new styles (and Fedoras!).
Mark’s Omnistic viewpoint welcomes all loving couples from any background, belief, and devotion. Mark will be there to help guide you through the steps of galvanizing your bonds with marriage.
Meet Officiant Mark Sastre
Mark was born and raised in southeast Texas. Born to his Argentinian Mom and Dad, Mark was raised in a bilingual home immersed with the Argentinian culture including yerba maté Mate, Churrasco con chimichurri, asados a la parrilla, matambre, and futbol (Go Messi!). Mark enjoys cooking his “(in)famous” gumbo for his daughters, making his roasted habanero/jalapeno salsa, smoking briskets and ribs with friends, and is El Asador when with family. Playing guitar, drums, and piano with his brother is a treat, and karaoke with friends always brings out smiles!
