Where: Stage at Crockett Park, 1300 N. Main Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212

On Saturday, July 4, Pride San Antonio will proudly present the 2015 Pride “Bigger than Texas” Festival and Parade. In celebration of the June 26th Supreme Court decision that legalized same-sex marriage, Everlasting Elopements and Texas Wedding Ministers, in conjunction with Pride San Antonio, will perform a free mass wedding ceremony for any and all couples who wish to participate.

Judge Ron Rangell and Rev. Audrie Henry, from Texas Wedding Ministers, will perform the ceremony. Rev. Rene Esparza, co-owner of Texas Wedding Ministers, will also translate the ceremony into Spanish. The ceremony will take place at 2:30 p.m.

Couples wishing to participate will need to obtain a marriage license from the City Clerk’s office before attending the event. Marriage licenses can be obtained Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $81, cash only. Couples will need birth certificates and a picture ID. If couples are unable to obtain their license in time, they are still welcome to participate. Once they have obtained the license, Texas Wedding Ministers will sign it for free.

Officiants from Texas Wedding Ministers will be on hand after the ceremony to sign marriage licenses and take photos. Click here to print your application for marriage license.

All couples will be invited to come back Sunday, July 5, to march as married couples in the Parade at 8 a.m. Wedding Attire encouraged!
