Meet Minister Jane Macharia
Minister Jane Macharia began life’s journey in the city of Nairobi, Kenya, where she was born and raised before moving to America. She grew up in a Episcopal and Catholic Church and have lived in many cities and built a community about diversity and love for all.
After spending over 13 years in New Jersey, she embraced a new chapter in Texas four years ago. With an associate degree in Mental Health, Social Work, and Addiction, alongside a Bachelor’s in Human Resources and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership, Jane is deeply committed to uplifting others. Her diverse experience spans the entertainment industry, healthcare, and social work, where she has passionately supported refugees, asylum seekers, survivors of abuse, and those experiencing homelessness, all while serving in government roles.
Minister Jane Macharia has a vibrant array of hobbies that reflect her creative spirit, including a love for cooking and a passion for acquiring new skills. She enjoys orchestrating memorable events like baby showers, engagements, and festive Christmas parties. Her enthusiasm for bringing people together is what inspired her journey to become an officiant. Additionally, she dedicates her time to volunteering at her local church and actively engaging with her community.
