Officiant Roberto Puente is a professional Jack of all Trades. He has been everything from a barista, a math tutor, and a baker to a trained scientist. From his fun, short-lived venture selling Pokemon cards on live stream to now fixing cars for a living, he has had the great privilege and honor to meet and converse with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Because of his experiences, he is able to be adaptable and pivot in order to make any couple’s ceremony everything the couple has envisioned.
Officiant Roberto is far from shy of the unexpected and believes that collaboration is key to making a couple’s vision come true. With each ceremony, he brings a unique touch that reflects the couple’s journey, ensuring that every detail resonates with their love story. Officiant Roberto Puente’s journey to becoming a wedding officiant began on a fateful summer in 2023 when his family found themselves frustrated by the challenge of finding a bilingual officiant that the couple could agree upon. They turned to Roberto, asking if he would consider becoming ordained to officiate his sister’s wedding. As the devoted big brother, he was eager to help create the ceremony she had always dreamed of.
The challenge was accepted! He became ordained through Universal Life Church Ministries.
In the lead-up to the wedding, Roberto embraced the multifaceted responsibilities of an officiant, understanding that the role extends far beyond just the wedding day. By the time the big day arrived, he had crafted a ceremony that beautifully reflected the couple’s unique story and personalities, incorporating his sister’s passion for Doctor Who and the groom’s love for the Fast and the Furious franchise.
His heartfelt approach earned him glowing reviews from attendees, and he was even hired for another wedding shortly thereafter.
Meet Officiant Roberto Puente
Officiant Roberto Puente was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. His family moved to Texas in 2002 and has resided in the Lone Star State of Texas ever since.
Officiant Puente is the oldest of five siblings and is blessed to say that all five of them have a very strong bond. Since 2020, he has been happily married to his wife Rachel. Yup, right before the pandemic.
He is a self-proclaimed big nerd. In his spare time, you can find him painting miniatures, playing board games, and hiking in State parks with his lovely wife. As much as he engages in nerdy spaces, he also appreciates the outdoors.
In his younger years, he was an adrenaline junkie. Everything from skydiving to running with the bulls, and now his adrenaline rush comes from officiating weddings!
