Officiant Shonda Smith is a true wedding enthusiast, having begun her journey as a wedding coordinator at Allure Planning Services, LLC. By day, she excels as a Treasury Analyst, but when the weekend arrives, she transforms into a passionate officiant, coordinator, and decorator for events across the vibrant DFW area. Her love for weddings ignited when she helped her cousin plan her special day, and since that moment, she has never looked back. Shonda has gained invaluable experience interning with Lynn Jackson at Fit and Fab Weddings, earned her wedding planning certification from AAWC, and became an ordained minister through American Marriage Ministries. Her dedication to her craft was recognized when she made The Knot’s Best of Weddings list in 2021. In her leisure time, Shonda enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and exploring new restaurants. She believes that every couple deserves a ceremony that beautifully reflects their unique love story, and she is committed to creating personalized experiences that resonate deeply with everyone involved.
