Wedding of the Week with Reverend Rene Esparza

On October 26th at the Japanese Tea Gardens in San Antonio, Texas, Chris and Chloe Goss pronounced their love and gave a life-long promise to commit to one another as husband and wife. They were married by Texas Wedding Ministers’ Officiant Reverend Rene Esparza. Over the course of their planning process, he was able to work with them to customize an intimate ceremony that spoke directly to their fundamental beliefs.
From the start, Chris and Chloe knew that there was a strong connection between them. Just two weeks into their relationship, Chloe became sick and had to have emergency surgery. Chris sat in the waiting room throughout the 6-hour surgery with Chloe’s mom, whom he had not met until that day. Chloe remembered being taken to her room after surgery, seeing him with her mom and she immediately crying. “I must have looked like a complete crazy person,” Chloe said, “but he didn’t leave my side”.
Their relationship has seen many aspects of life already with trials of highs and lows. They lost everything but each other a year into their time together, but their love for one another pulled them together and brought them through to a better day.
Now, as husband and wife, they continue to write their love story and stand as a beautiful example of compassion and selflessness for their daughter to look up to. Congratulations, Chris and Chloe! We were so honored to be apart of your day and share a page in your story.
