Violet & Travis
Meet The Couple
Travis and Violet met 13 years ago when they were coworkers at a movie theater. Instantly a friendship formed and they became movie buddies who enjoyed watching films together no matter how good or bad. After high school, the couple attended Texas State University and would meet up for lunch daily in between classes. Naturally, their friendship transitioned into a deeper love. Travis proposed to the lady of his dreams around their 7 year anniversary.
The couple visited The Ivory Oak in Wimberley, Texas in December of 2019. One look was all it took for them to know that this was the perfect location for their wedding. The main barn with its white high ceiling and sparkling chandeliers added to the dreamy fairytale vibe Violet envisioned. Every moment was captured by Allison Jeffers and executed by Kristin Shrimplin from Elaine and Lee coordination.
Violet and Travis wanted to honor the last 8 years of love while celebrating their new journey as husband and wife. Reverend Tim Ball worked with the couple to create a personalized and meaningful ceremony. The pair exchanged handwritten heartfelt vows that brought many to tears. As a symbol of two individuals becoming one, the couple included a sand ceremony ritual.
