Chaz and Val’s story begins 15 years ago. Throughout high school and into their college days, they remained friends before a deeper connection was formed. One summer, like Danny Zuko and Sandy from “Grease” summer lovin’, swept them off their feet.  That passion grew into an unbreakable bond of 9 years that culminated in their dream wedding day. 

Val and Chaz knew they wanted an outdoor wedding with a view and they got just that. The elegant ceremony was held at The Villa at Cielo Vista in San Antonio, Texas and was coordinated by Shirley Lebron from the Love Story Addicts. Valerie vowed not to be a bridezilla and trusted her vendors to execute the perfect ceremony. She said “I had a vision of my dream wedding and it came out just like that!”  The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Kathy V. Gonzalez, who guided them throughout the process to ensure their nerves were calmed before the “I Do’s.”  

The couple wanted their ceremony to be as unique and meaningful as their relationship. They decided to incorperate the lasso ritual to honor their Catholic roots. Reverend Kathy Gonzalez called upon the couple’s representatives to place a rosary around the two in a figure eight formation, creating an inifinty symbol. This shape is symbolic of the pairs everlasting commitment and undying love to one another.
